Piggyback is an Australia-based vision therapy tool for children designed to make developing reading and visual comprehension skills fun and simple. I worked on this web design and development project on behalf of Cusdom, a custom software agency where I work as a Designer. For this project, which spanned more than one year, I was fully responsible for all web and graphic design.

At the core of this project, and product, is creating a fun experience for children so that they can feel enthusiasm for their own literacy learning. As such, it was extremely fun for me to be able to fully control all design elements - I prioritized bright yet accessible colors that evoke the feeling of a primary school classroom and visually simple fonts to make reading text as simple as possible. These choices translated not only to the informational landing page, but also the activities page where all the magic happens!

More exciting was the many hours of work I put into creating all custom graphics for the therapy activities. The type of graphics required varied widely, however the following, which I've included photos of, were some of my favorites: hand shadow puppets, 3D glasses illustrations, Australian wildlife-themed tangrams, and embodied exercise guide illustrations. I feel very lucky to have picked up some new graphic illustration skills through this project!
